The Sun Valley Golf Resort in Sanya, Hainan Island, built a major resort development that covers close to 200,000 sqm of land and obtained a LEED for Neighborhood Development (ND) Certification. BEE worked to transform the project into a truly sustainable golfing community that has been recognized all over China as a first of its kind. For this project BEE performed full green architectural and urban planning reviews, energy and thermal simulations, comprehensive water and wastewater strategies, as well as the incorporation of innovative policies that were geared towards turning the development into a sustainable community for the guests.
