About the project

BEE was commissioned to offer turn-key LEED Consulting services for the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Elementary School in High Point, North Carolina. The school is the first in the state to pursue the new LEED for Schools rating system. In addition to using the highest possible standards for the interior fit-out materials, the school boasts a photovoltaic panel array on all newly constructed roofs and they have installed full LED lighting throughout all interiors. BEE supported IHM to create a project that will set a precedent for several schools in the state that have a desire to increase their building sustainability performance.
